THROUGH THE LENS OF THE STUDENT: PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB TAKES FLIGHT

The first-ever student-led photography club at Qingdao Amerasia International School develops creative talent and a sense of service among its members. Created by Ryoichi, a Grade 10 student, the club forms part of students’ Service as Action plan, whereby student’s volunteer their time and skills to a creative endeavour which benefits their community and themselves (An important part of the IB curriculum). The club will take artistic photos of school events, to give a unique student perspective. Their work will be featured in the QAIS yearbook, student exhibitions and school Instagram account. Their first exhibition will take place soon so watch this space!
