QAIS Students Win International Video Prize
A group of four QAIS students will receive the National Unification Advisory Council Award from the Republic of Korea, after their video promoting the unification of North and South Korea took top honors in an international competition.
Submissions seeking the international video prize came from hundreds of teams around the world (over 30 from Qingdao alone), with the specification that ‘Korean unification’ be thematically connected with K-Pop. To even more fully reflect the zeitgeist of 2016, the team of Sarah, Kang Min, Steven, and Candy brilliantly styled their submission as an interview with the creators of a unification-themed smartphone app.
At QAIS, students reflect on what it means to be agents of peace, and they also have constant opportunities to develop skills across many media and technologies. (Video requires Youtube.)
