QAIS students hit the slopes: Ski Trip 2017

Qingdao International School Students from grades 1 to 12 hit the slopes this winter. For some, this was their first time in snow skis. For others, this experience was one of many.  For all, however, the annual QAIS ski trip to Jinshan provided hours of thrills, laughter, and fun. Teachers and students spent three days enjoying the fresh air, as they sped down the mountain with smiles plastered on their faces.

The ski trip is one of our most favorite traditions at QAIS, as it offers students and teachers the opportunity to get to know one another in a more relaxed atmosphere. By building relationships, teachers are able to establish connections to learning on a more personal level, benefiting students and strengthening the spirit of the school.

对有的人来说这是他们人生第一次滑雪，对另一些人来说，这是又一次的滑雪经历。但对所有人，QAIS一年一度的滑雪活动都是充满挑战、欢笑和乐趣的经历。三天的时间里，全校各年级的学生（除了幼儿园）先后和老师们一起享受户外新鲜的空气和从山坡上向下驰骋的快乐。

QAIS每年在即墨金山滑雪场的滑雪活动是学校颇受欢迎的传统之一。学生和老师们有机会在轻松的氛围下，以完全不同于日常的方式深入地交往。老师通过滑雪活动与学生建立较为亲密的关系，更全面地了解学生，同时也增强了学校的凝聚力。
