QAIS Inspire Project
IB Diploma Programme students spent the Spring developing a project that would celebrate our community’s skills and talents, and provide fresh inspiration for each of us to try new things. They gathered materials, coordinated use of the cafeteria and auditorium facilities, sought involvement from family and friends, and publicized he event through social media and other channels. Finally, on Saturday, May 28th, our DP students presented the QAIS Inspire Project!
Students made sushi, taught Hungarian, and led workshops in guitar and dance. Teachers and friends gave presentations on making favorite dishes, and led a workshop on professional makeup (as well as a rousing Zumba introduction).
There was plenty to be inspired by, but we at QAIS are proud of our students for conceiving and carrying out this unique event, and we are thankful for the involvement of their teachers and friends. As it says in our mission statement, we “aim to inspire a lifelong love of learning,” and this event was an excellent example of that goal being realized. Congratulations, QAIS Inspire Project!
