Exceeding Expectations at the PYP Exhibition

Exceeding Expectations at the PYP Exhibition

– by Sean Oussoren

The grade 5 and 6 students celebrated the culmination of their PYP Exhibition journey last Thursday with parents, staff and students from Early Childhood all the way to Grade 12.

Visitors got the opportunity to learn about student investigations into air pollution, child labor, animal extinction, migration, ocean health, food supply, and technology. After almost two months of research, collaboration, interviews and support from their mentors and staff, the students truly became experts in their fields and were able to answer a range of questions about their topics.

Visitors were provided with the chance to view presentations, to scan QR codes, to look into a microscope, to make bricks and to share their personal stories of migration. The celebration acknowledged the students’ fantastic displays but also their dedication, commitment, global citizenship and collaboration along the way. Congratulations to all the students for an outstanding Exhibition.
