Thanks Mom! - Mother's Day at QAIS

                As a special ‘thank you’ to QAIS moms, our PYP students hosted a lovely event with an emotional photo montage of smiling mothers and children, followed by a lively singing performance. Students were able to take individual pictures with their moms in a life size Mother’s Day frame, and many had handmade gifts and cards to share as well.

                After the ceremony, grade 2 students continued the festivities with a creative sharing assembly where they displayed their shadow puppets and self-written stories to parents and PYP peers. It was a wonderful way to combine the science of light waves with art and drama, and it capped off the event nicely.

                So, thank you to mothers everywhere! We love and appreciate all you do!
