Montessori EC Graduation

The morning started with an intimate gathering of students from the Montessori Early Childhood Program, who will be moving up to Grade 1, and their parents, as we celebrated the Montessori Graduation here at QAIS. Teachers from the Peony Cottage and Lotus Cottage gave a touching introduction to each student, and the students sang “This Little Light of Mine”. There were many tears of joy and pride; many of the ‘graduates’ have been in their cottages for three years, and have grown in independence, kindness, and understanding, before our very eyes.

We are so proud of the Montessori Early Childhood Program here at Qingdao Amerasia International School! Special thanks goes to our EC teachers – Katy Porray and Mia Xiao in the Lotus Cottage, and Jacqueline Oussoren and Sabrina Zhong in the Peony Cottage! Thank you for helping those lights shine!
