Middle Years Students Explore Chengdu

Middle Years Students Explore Chengdu

From April 21st to 24th, Middle Years Programme students in Grades 7 and 8 trekked to Chengdu, the heart of China’s Sichuan Province. Chengdu is most famous for its panda sanctuary, and is packed with cultural sites dating back thousands of years. Students visited the ancient irrigation site at Dujiangyan, experienced the beauty of Mt. Qingcheng, the traditional Hakka settlement of Luo Dai, and much more. And of course, they saw some very cuddly pandas!

In all, students had a terrific time expanding their experience of China’s geography, ecology, and culture on this school trip to Chengdu!
