Grade 4 Unit Sharing - How We Express Ourselves

From Impressionism to Expressionism, from Chinese calligraphy to drama and emojis, Grade 4 explored many different media, places, and times in their recent unit of inquiry. Last Friday, they welcomed families and friends to view some of the works that they had created as they looked at how, “Throughout history, people have interacted with each other and communicated using arts.”

In the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme at Qingdao Amerasia International School, each class does six units of inquiry each year. Each unit gives students rich opportunities to take action toward the development of their knowledge and skills, and to grow as collaborative, lifelong learners.
