First Week Back to School at QAIS Re-Cap!

Welcome back to school! We have had an amazing week. The students at Qingdao Amerasia International School greeted all of us with smiles and an enthusiasm that is delightful to see.

The 2016-2017 school year has begun with programs of inquiry, classroom and school-wide communities being built, and students sharing ideas that provide everyone an opportunity to grow in their appreciation of one another. The care and concern we share are only two of the many values that bolster our spirits. This spirit is pervasive and extends far beyond the walls that confine and make-up our classrooms and school building. It is this spirit that affirms my own belief that when we dream, we can act and we can achieve anything.

I am confident that this year will be our best yet. Please join me in celebrating the new opportunities that lie ahead. Together, we will achieve unprecedented success in supporting our students’ intellectual, social, and emotional growth. We look forward to sharing this success with you.
