Chinese New Year Celebrations!

Qingdao Amerasia International School rang in the Year of the Monkey, with Chinese New Year celebrations throughout the school!

In the morning, children in Toddler and Early Childhood classes performed Spring Festival songs, accompanied by an ensemble playing traditional Chinese instruments, before enjoying mask-painting, dumpling-making, and many more activities, with parents and teachers, in a ‘Temple Fair’ setting right here at QAIS! To wrap up the party, a young Beijing Opera protégé gave a very special performance!
