Buddy Activity - Grade 5 in the Lotus Cottage

Last Friday, Grade 5 and the Lotus Cottage (ages 3-6) came together to share the joy of reading, with the older students read favorite books to small groups of younger students. This event was one of our Class Buddy Activities, which bring classes from different age groups together.

At QAIS, we create regular opportunities for students to come together in multi-age groups, in order to help them develop empathy, model behavior, and learn how to collaborate with others at different developmental levels. We believe that doing so helps us to fulfil our mission of creating “courageous global citizens who help to create a more peaceful world through community action, intercultural understanding, and respect for all life.”
