Youth Club Paintball

Youth Club Paintball

On Friday afternoon, Youth Club hopped up the road to Guoxin Stadium, donned helmets and combat fatigues, and shot brightly colored little balls at each other! Needless to say, a good time was had by all – not only does paintball present an opportunity to bond through team play, it’s a lot of fun!

The group did two rounds of ‘attack and defend’, and then wrapped up the afternoon with ‘capture the flag’.

Students in Grade 5 and up are invited to Youth Club at Qingdao Amerasia International School every Friday from 3:40-6pm. Most weeks we stay at school, with Xbox Kinect, ping pong, pool, basketball, and other activities. Students have been taking turns preparing special snacks from their home country to sell. About once every month, we take an ‘extension’ activity, to explore something awesome off campus. We’ve done swimming, bowling, and ice skating, and, with a new paintball center five minutes away, we’ve been eager to try this one out! Coordinator Chris Cronin says, “We’ll do it again before the end of year!”
