RISK-TAKERS ROCK AT ROBOTICS 敢于冒险—QAIS学生勇闯机器人大赛

2nd PLACE AT THE WORLD ROBOTICS CONFERENCE

The QAIS Robotics Team came in 2nd Place at the World Robotics Conference in Beijing (Aug 20-25)! The Team of Grade 12, Grade 11, Grade 8 & Grade 7 students, under the leadership of Coach Jack, was invited to this exclusive Regional Champions Only-tournament.

Over 1000 teams from 16 different countries competed in what is an incredibly difficult competition of knock out rounds. Robotics & STEAM have grown very popular in China over the last few years. The QAIS Robotics team has developed and improved rapidly and courageously competed against incredibly skilled international teams.

Guests at the competition included Oussama Khatib, a professor at Stanford University and Ma Kai, former vice-prime minister of China. The team has gone from strength to strength, placing first at the MakeX Regional Competion on July 19 and receiving the Best Industrial Design Award at the RCC Robotics Open in Huangzhou earlier this month. STEAM is no challenge for these incredibly brave students.

喜获WRC世界机器人大赛冠军赛第二名

QAIS机器人团队在北京举行的世界机器人大赛冠军赛（8月20日至25日）中荣获亚军! 在Jack管老师的带领下，11年级，8年级和7年级学生团队被邀请参加此次冠军联赛。

来自16个不同国家的1000多支队伍参加了这场竞争激烈的比赛。在过去的几年里，机器人和STEAM在中国越来越受欢迎。QAIS机器人团队迅速发展，水平不断提高，并勇敢地与技术高超的国际团队竞争。

到北京WRC比赛前来观战的嘉宾包括斯坦福大学(Stanford University)教授Oussama Khatib和中国前副总理马凯。学生们勤奋刻苦地工作了一整个夏天，在7月19日的MakeX青岛地区比赛中获得第一名，并于8月初杭州RCC机器人公开赛上进入国内和国际四强并获得最佳工业设计奖。对于这些非常勇敢的学生来说，STEAM是他们真正的热爱。
