Arts Week 2016!
Parents, staff, and peers were thrilled by our students’ display of creative achievement throughout last week. There were songs and dances, from rock groups, xylophone and recorder orchestras and more, as well as abundant tears of joy and bursts of laughter from delighted parents and friends. Installations in sculpture, papier maché, drawing, painting, illustrating, original films, patterns and prints, from every corner of QAIS. We are proud of our students many talents, and thankful for the work of our Arts and Performance teachers Ms Charla Esser, Ms Pauline Roby, Mr Jeff La Roux, and Dr Dan North for their work with our students throughout the year. The theme was ‘Shine’, and our school community delivered.
MYP held their performance on Monday, June 6th, and PYP performed on Friday, June 10th.
Here are the photos from MYP’s performance, and the art exhibition!
